Sunday, December 3, is the first Sunday of Advent.  This is the beginning of a season of hope and joyful preparation for the celebration of Christ’s birth.

Here is a video that I created for my Sunday Facebook clients using text from Sunday’s First Reading.  If you like it, you can use it.  This is my gift to you. Along with it I offer my wishes for a very blessed Advent. If you would like to download the video and upload it to your website or Facebook Page here is the link: https://vimeo.com/244882541.

Here is the description that I will be using with this video.  You are welcome to use any or all of it as well.

This Sunday, December 3, is the First Sunday of Advent 2017. The readings for the First Sunday of Advent extol God as our father and creator and as the faithful one calling us into communion with his Son.  God will call us from this life one day. We do not know the day or the hour that will happen.  Therefore, we must always be prepared to welcome him. “Be watchful. Be alert!” (Mark 13:33)  Here is a link to the readings: http://www.usccb.org/bible/readings/120317.cfm #Advent
