Subscriber’s Survey 2012
The calendar year has advanced to 2012 and I am back at my blog post again. I am thinking about you, my subscribers, and wondering how I can help you use the Internet and social media to advance your mission in the coming year. I believe that the best way for me to get the answer to that question is to ask you.

Hi Sr. Susan
Happy New Year. We have just begun taping our Sunday homilies as mp3 files. We thought this would be an easy undertaking to then put on our website and facebook. Maybe it is and we have not been able to access the information needed to learn to do this. Can you send me in any particular direction with help to do this?

Happy New Year to you! What you are asking about is how to create a podcast to post on the web. It actually is “easy” (once you know how to do it!). The simplest explanation I have found on how to record and publish homilies was written by Fr. Dave Dwyer, CSP, at Bustedhalo.com.
