Giving Thanks and More About the Christmas Video

pumpkins-972199_1920As you are well aware, we celebrate Thanksgiving Day in the United States this week. It gives all of us an occasion to remember the blessings that we have received from God as a nation and all blessings that come to us through the good people in our lives and those who are working on our behalf. It is good to pause and give thanks. That is what I will do right now.

Thank you to all my readers, especially those that take time to comment and give feedback on my posts. I believe strongly that the Internet and social media are essential tools in sharing the Good News and when I can help others to use them effectively, I am encouraged to keep writing and to keep providing resources that will make it easier for you to succeed. Thank you for your efforts in various ministries to use the new media to reach the new generations who are growing up in this digital age expecting that if it is important, it is on the Internet. May this Thanksgiving Day be a day of gratitude and happiness for you your loved ones.

A follow-up to the Christmas Video information

For those parishes that do not have suitable Christmas photos to provide for the customized Christmas video that I offered to produce last week, I have created a “universal” Christmas video using a public domain nativity scene:

Just a reminder that this video is for the times (and locations if you have more than one worship site) for Masses on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day only, because that is what your audience wants to know.  You can put the Mass schedule for the entire Christmas season on your website for those who want more information. For more details and how to request an order form, click here.

Here is the link to last week’s blog which provides 12 best practices to successfully use your Christmas video.

Happy Thanksgiving to all!
